Volkswagen T-Roc to be launched in India on 18 March

Volkswagen T-Roc was first unveiled at a Volkswagen media event which took place earlier this month, followed by its Auto Expo 2020 showcase. On 18 March, Volkswagen will finally launch the T-Roc in India, after much waiting. The compact SUV will be coming to India as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) and competing in India against the likes of Jeep Compass.

The Volkswagen T-Roc will be powered under the hood by a 1.5-liter TSI compliant BS6 petrol engine which generates 148bhp and 250Nm torque. This engine comes coupled with a DSG seven-speed transmission. Six airbags, ABS, ESC and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and more will form part of the safety feature list.

The Volkswagen T-Roc gets a familiar family face and a panoramic sunroof, dual-tone alloy wheels and LED headlamps with DRLs are feature highlights. As for the interior, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will provide premium leather upholstery, automatic climate control, push-button start, reverse parking camera and a large tactile infotainment system.
