Indian-spec Toyota Vellfire specifications revealed

The luxury MPV segment will be updated to the latest Toyota Vellfire version. It is due to start on 26 February and pre-bookings are already available for a small group of customers. We now have the full details of what will be provided by the India-spec model.

In a single Executive Lounge variant, it will be offered with powered VIP seats in the middle row fitted with powered ottomans (leg supports). The central seats are heated and refrigerated, can be power-adjusted with memory function, and can be upholstered with plush leather and folding tables.

The Vellfire’s luxury comforts include a dual sunroof, 3-zone climate control, power sliding rear doors, a 13-inch ceiling-mounted rear display screen with HDMI and WiFi access that can operate open/closed, a 17-speaker JBL audio system and a 10-inch central touchscreen infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

It also gets a powered tailgate, 16-color roof ambient lighting, headlamps with auto LEDs and heated ORVMs. Toyota has fitted it with a range of safety features such as seven airbags, front and rear parking sensors, panoramic view display and VDIM (vehicle dynamic integrated control). The Vellfire was approved for India and has 165 mm ground clearance.

The Toyota Vellfire is expected to be priced at Rs 90 lakh since it will be available in a single variant, whereas the Mercedes V-Class is priced between Rs 68.40 lakh and Rs 1.10 crore (ex-showroom, India).
