MG Hector Plus To Launch In July 2020

The MG Hector is one of their segment ‘s biggest 5-seater offerings. At Auto Expo 2020, a bigger, three-row version was exhibited as the Hector Plus which is now scheduled to be released in India in July, as stated by one of the official Twitter account of MG Help.

As you can see in the exclusive photo below, the Hector Plus unveiled at the expo was a 6-seater configuration with captain chairs in the middle-row. It featured quality tanned leather upholstery and slight external aesthetic changes. The Hector Plus was unveiled with redesigned headlamps and grille, larger daytime running LED lamps, revised rear bumper, and non-connected tail lamps. The MG Hector Plus looks considerably sharper and more mature than the standard 5-seater model.

Ideally, The Hector Plus would have the same list of features as the standard Hector. This includes equipment such as a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system that includes connected car technology, panoramic sunroof, 360 camera views and up to six airbags. It will also get third row AC vents and a USB charger.

The Hector Plus will get the same BS6 engine options under the hood as the Hector 5-seater. Its 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine makes 143PS/250Nm with a 48V mild-hybrid system matched to a 6-speed manual while the 6-speed dual-clutch automatic option does not include mild-hybrid configuration. The 2.0-liter diesel engine, though fitted to a 6-speed manual, produces 170PS/350Nm and does not yet have an automatic alternative.
