MG Hector Plus Listed On Indian Website

MG Motor is all set to unleash another SUV on the Indian market in July 2020 and on its official website has mentioned the forthcoming Hector-based variant. Christened the Hector Plus, the Hector is a three-row variant that came here in 2019. A model list has also been announced lately, indicating it would be available in three variants: Super, Smart, and Sharp.

The Hector Plus 6-seater would be powered by both diesel and petrol engines. A 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine (143PS/250Nm) coupled with an automatic dual-clutch 6-speed engine will be available. MG will also be selling a turbo-petrol package with a 48V mild-hybrid configuration coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox for the SUV. The 2.0-liter diesel engine is tuned at 170PS/350Nm and a 6-speed manual gearbox will be mounted. The top-spec Strong model is limited to a petrol-manual mild-hybrid combination. Like the 5-seater Hector, the base-spec Style model does not sell the Hector Plus.

With significant graphical improvements, the Hector Plus differentiates itself from the regular edition, primarily to its front fascia. Inside, it features a dual-tone theme for the second row, with brunette upholstery and captain seats. With a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a 360-degree display, cruise control and a 10.4-inch touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, MG is expected to deliver the Hector Plus. The SUV ‘s third row comes with AC vents and USB ports.
