MG Gloster Spied Again in Testing

Around Diwali this year, MG Motor will launch its fourth product for India, the Gloster, which debuted at Auto Expo 2020. It has now been spotted with minimal camouflage testing in Gujarat to cover the logo of the brand and the nameplate on the rear. The carmaker is selling the SUV in the Chinese and Australian markets as Maxus D90 and LDV D90, respectively.

In China the Gloster comes with both gasoline and diesel engines. It obtains a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine which produces 220PS and 365Nm. The diesel engine, on the other hand, is a 2.0-liter bi-turbo unit which puts out 220PS and 480Nm. All motors come mated to an optional 8-speed ZF. MG provides a full-size SUV with 4-wheel drive system.

The Gloster is expected to come with a bunch of features in terms of equipment list, as seen on the Maxus D90. This includes a panoramic sunroof, an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 3-zone climate control, digital instrument cluster, and 360-degree camera. Offered safety devices could include numerous EBD airbags, ESPs, and ABS.
