On 16 March 2020, Honda Cars India will take off the wraps of the fifth-gen City sedan. Bookings are also expected to officially begin on the same day as the unveiling according to sources. The company recently released a new city’s first teaser.
The new City for India will look quite similar to the one which made its world premiere late last year in Thailand. Honda India will embody country-specific changes, however. Inside the car, tweaks like dual-tone shades and faux-brushed aluminum trim will be seen to make the car look even more premium. The seats will have a lighter shade, at least on the higher variants.
In our market, the top-spec City ZX will come standard with a sunroof, 16-inch alloy wheels, and full-LED headlamps.
Honda’s fifth-gen mid-size sedan will get a 1.5-liter diesel and petrol engines compatible with BS6 under the hood. It is predicted that the 1.5-liter petrol unit will come with the latest mild-hybrid tech seen on the newly revealed jazz.
