Maruti Suzuki launched facelift Vitara Brezza in India. Available in five variants-LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI, ZXI+, and ZXI+ Dual Tone, priced from Rs 7.34 lakh to Rs 11.40 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) WIth the facelift, the Vitara Brezza, unlike the pre-facelift model, which was a diesel-only offer, has become a petrol-only offer.
The Vitara Brezza facelift is powered by the 1.5-liter petrol engine also available in the Ciaz, XL6, Ertiga and the S-Cross 2020. As standard, it makes 105PS and 138Nm combined with a manual 5-speed gearbox. It also provides an optional 4-speed torque converter.
The 1.5-liter gasoline unit replaces the 1.3-liter diesel engine used in the model pre-facelift. It makes 15PS bigger and 62Nm lighter than the diesel engine. As of now, Maruti has no plans to introduce a diesel at the Vitara Brezza.
For the MT and the AT variants, Maruti claims a fuel efficiency figure of 17.03 kmpl and 18.76 kmpl. The diesel-powered Vitara Brezza, in contrast, has a claimed mileage of 24.3kmpl, 6kmpl more than the new petrol unit.
Maruti has also revised theSub-4 m SUV feature list with the facelift. In addition to features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, dual LED projector headlamps with dual-function LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps, IRVM auto dimming and a new7-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
