Bentley has unveiled the Continental GT Mulliner Convertible. The open-top model, which is scheduled to make its debut at the upcoming Geneva motor show, has exclusive features such as a Double Diamond front grille, a new Mulliner wheel design for the 22-inch rims and a custom-made Mulliner interior. Bentley said the model was “created to attract those customers who want beautiful details to be even more focused on.”
The Double Diamond grille design echoes the familiar interior quilting of Bentley’s diamond-in-diamond, which appears on seats, door housings and, for the first time, the tonneau cover. The interior also offers eight custom-made combinations of three colors, while the central console gets a new, exclusive Breitling silver brushed timepiece.
In a Mulliner designed hand-built package, which suits the car’s three-color interior, customers can receive a leather key. Available with Bentley’s V8 or W12 powertrain, the Continental GT Mulliner Convertible will achieve 0-96kph in 4.0sec and 3.7sec respectively.
Through introducing special editions and continuation versions and an all-new, ultra-exclusive model, Bentley is ramping up its Mulliner coachbuilding arm. At Geneva, the Bacalar Open-top Grand Tourer will be unveiled, priced at £ 1.5 million (approx. Rs 13.84 crore) and limited to 12 vehicles.
