In addition to offering the SUV a facelift in the process, Mahindra also upgraded the Bolero to follow the increasingly strict BS6 pollution norms. The new utility vehicle is available in three specification packages and is powered by Mahindra’s 1.5-liter three-cylinder mHawk75 diesel engine with a torque output of 76hp and 210Nm.
As standard, the BS6 Bolero is eligible as a 7-seater and offers aesthetic changes, including a redesigned hood, headlamps and tail lights, along with new bumpers. The revised Bolero also follows upcoming pedestrian protection requirements and is surprisingly the first edition in India that meets the criteria with metal bumpers.
