2020 Bs6 Volkswagen Polo 1.0 MPI price & variants

The revised BS6-compliant Volkswagen Polo was released on our market earlier this month with prices varying from Rs 5.82 lakh for the basic Trendline model to Rs 9.59 lakh for the top-spec GT Line version.

Volkswagen removed the 1.5-liter diesel engine completely from the line-up in this change from BS4 to BS6, rendering the Polo a petrol-only hatchback. In addition to upgrading the 1.0-liter, three-cylinder MPI engine, the German carmaker has also removed the 105hp higher power,1.2-liter, four-cylinder TSI turbo-oil engine with a smaller, more powerful 110hp, 1.0-liter TSI turbo-oil engine.

The 1.0-liter MPI engine is present with the Trendline model and the Comfortline variant as it is, while the 1.0-liter TSI would be included in the Highline Plus and GT Trims. It is also worth remembering that these models did not make any improvements in visual or hardware since the Polo facelift that was introduced late last year.
