All new Facelift Datsun redi-GO

In 2020, the Datsun redi-GO is undergoing a facelift coupled with a gas engine up to BS6. It is to be launched soon and its details have been leaked online. It has now been found at a dealership in Datsun.

The most important design improvement is the updated front fascia featuring a wider grille, wide daylight working LED circular indicators, and sleeker headlamps. This looks unchanged from the picture but on the front fenders the 2020 redi-GO receives a wheel cover and added badging. The top-spec model gets stylish frames. The rear end appears unchanged, as seen in the leaked brochure, aside from an revised arrangement with modern LED components in the tail lamps.

You will see the updated Dashboard and the lack of a touchscreen infotainment interface in the cabin of this 2020 redi-GO located at a dealership. This has a standard audio device in the current center panel, with a graphical interface over the buttons, located between the AC vents and the manual AC buttons. This also gets a revamped instrument panel for the driver but also lacks voice sensors installed on steering. Overall, the redesigned cabin with its hexagonal vents and updated dashboard upgrades the redi-GO hatchback entry-level look for its size.

The leaked paper revealed that a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment interface in the top model would be sold to the facelifted redi-GO. This spied layout tends to be one level below it, i.e. it’s the T and not the T(O) version.

Compared to the Renault Kwid, Datsun will sell the redi-GO with BS6-compliant 0.8-liter and 1.0-liter petrol engines. The 0.8-liter unit produced 52PS/72Nm in their BS4 avatars while the 1.0-liter unit produced 68PS/91Nm. It is probable that the modified BS6 versions give the same results. It is anticipated that both engines will be supplied with a 5-speed manual while the larger engine will still continue to get the AMT alternative.
