Any unique consideration has been provided for a new Golden Eyes version to the Toyota Vellfire luxury MPV. It is based on the less luxury Z version which is available in selective markets such as Japan. The Golden Eyes version for its sister MPV, the Alphard Style Black, was introduced alongside a separate special edition.
The Vellfire gets gold accessories for the LED headlamps, a black-plated front grill and more garnishings across the back for the Golden Eyes version. It also gets a different interior upholstery that mixes fake leather and perforated suede. The Vellfire Golden Eyes comes with the 2.5-liter petrol engine that is also available in Japan with 2WD, 4WD and a hybrid variant.
The Vellfire’s Z model comes in 7-seater and 8-seater versions and is fitted with features including an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay touchscreen infotainment device, loads of active protection systems, parking assistance systems and a controlled back door.
Toyota is unlikely to be selling the Vellfire Golden Eyes service in India. Here it is available in a single premium model named the Executive Lounge which is fitted with features such as middle-row power-adjustable VIP chairs, a dual sunroof, rear display panel, and tri-zone air conditioning. It is powered by the 2.5-liter hybrid and 4WD petrol engine.
