Skoda has announced the versions and paint choices of the Excellent facelift, after announcing the production specifics of the forthcoming products. It has also provided Excellent 2020 bookings for a token of Rs 50,000. Skoda would sell the sedan in two variants: Laurin & Klement and Sportline. The model Sportline will be offered in three colours: Moon White, Race Blue, and Steel Grey, whilst the hybrid Laruin and Klement will come in five shades: Lava Dark blue, Magic Black, Magnetic Brown, Moon White, and Company Green.
The facelifted Superb is expected to include different technologies including Matrix LED headlamps, LED fog lights, a 360-degree display, and vehicle software attached to it. Things such as the sunroof, park support and ambient lighting are likely to be relocated from the pre-facelift edition.
The new Excellent will be sold petrol-only. It will be powered by a 2.0-liter BS6-compliant TSI petrol engine which will bring out 192PS and 320Nm. A 1.8-liter TSI petrol engine generating 180PS/250Nm sold the pre-facelift configuration. This engine is only compatible with a seven-speed DSG drive. Skoda claims if there is enough interest later it will put the diesel engine out.
