Second-Generation Renault Duster

In Europe, Renault (Dacia) has announced the 2022 Duster facelift, which includes interior and exterior aesthetic changes, new amenities, and a new automatic transmission.

It receives new LED headlights, LED indicators, a slightly altered front bumper, and a new chrome trimmed grille, to begin with. You also receive a new set of alloy wheels and Y-shaped LED tail lights, which help to update the vehicle’s appearance. With its strong posture and prominent wheel arches, though, the appearance remains intact.

The inside remains essentially identical, although new materials, a slightly altered centre console design, a sliding armrest, and a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are among the changes.

It now comes standard with automated headlights, a 3.5-inch MID screen, and cruise control. Heated front seats, automatic air conditioning, a 360-degree camera, and blind spot monitoring will be standard on higher-spec models. Adaptive hill decline control and real-time off-road data are also included in the 4X4 models.

The five engines available in the facelifted Euro-spec Duster are the 101PS 1.0-litre Bi-Fuel (Petrol-LPG), 91PS 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, 132PS/152PS 1.3-litre turbo-petrol, and 117PS 1.5-litre diesel. While all engines come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, the petrol engines can choose for a new 6-speed DCT (dual clutch automatic) transmission. The 4X2 and 4X4 drivetrains are available, with the latter available solely with the diesel engine.
