The Renault Triber sub-4 m MPV crossover finally gets an AMT (automated-manual transmission) alternative, almost nine months after it was first launched. The Fast R-AMT will be provided for a premium of Rs 40,000 over the manual transmission option with three variants of the Triber.
The latest AMT choice of the Triber is fitted to the 1.0-liter BS6 petrol motor, which is tuned to 72PS and 96Nm output. This was previously only sold with a manual 5-speed transmission when the AMT version was unveiled at Auto Expo 2020. The Renault sub-4 m MPV comes with three rows of seats and provides plenty of versatility from a 2-seater bulk carrier to a 7-seater mover in its seating layout.
The set of specifications of the EASY-R AMT models is not updated. The Triber is equipped with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen system, second- and third-row AC vents, an LED instrument cluster, and up to four airbags.
