Test drives are already available, and reservations are being accepted for the low price of Rs 50,000. Available in Platinum and Signature versions is the New Generation Tucson. powered by automated gearboxes and 2-liter gasoline and diesel engines. The onboard features include ADAS and twin 10.25-inch monitors. With more than 3,000 reservations for the SUV in only 15 days, Hyundai has seen positive sales for the Tucson. The automaker has stated that it anticipates a far greater demand than supply, and that the waiting period’s specifics would be made public at the time of the introduction on August 10.
The new Tucson began receiving test drives in July, and Hyundai’s Signature dealerships, where the Alcazar Signature and i20 N Line are also offered for purchase, will also sell the SUV. Bookings for the 2022 Tucson are currently being accepted with a nominal fee of Rs 50,000.
There will be Platinum and Signature versions of the Hyundai Tucson for sale. Two 2-liter engines with 186 PS for the diesel and 156 PS for the gasoline will be mated to 8-speed and 6-speed automatic gearboxes, respectively, to power the flagship Hyundai. You may choose an all-wheel-drive system with “Snow,” “Mud,” and “Sand” terrain settings for the Signature diesel model.
In terms of style, a luxurious feel, and features, the new Tucson significantly outperforms the previous version. The greatest upgrade is ADAS (advanced driver-assistance systems), which is a first for a Hyundai vehicle in India. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and driver attentiveness warning are all included in its comprehensive ADAS package.
The SUV is equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, two 10.25-inch displays (one for the infotainment system, the other for the instrumentation), heated, ventilated, and powered front seats, dual zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and dual zone climate control with dual zone climate control.
