Maruti Dzire 2020 Launched.

The sub-4 m sedan version of the third-gen Maruti Dzire has been given a mid-life refresh. It is the first facelift since the launch of the new-gen Dzire in 2017. The Dzire already had a BS6 petrol engine, but as of 2020 it is getting a new and improved DualJet petrol engine.

The most noticeable cosmetic update is the new front fascia on the facelifted Dzire. Its front grille, air dam, and number plate are all combined into one design that makes the Dzire look sportier than ever. The housings of front fog lamps have also been updated to make them look more luxurious. Its dual-tone alloy wheels also get a new style. The rear end design of the Dzire seems to have been left unchanged.

One of the biggest changes is the new 1.2-liter DualJet petrol engine that debuted on the BS6 Baleno with the facelifted Dzire. It makes 90PS power, making it more powerful than the previous 1.2-liter K- engine offering 83PS, though at 113Nm the torque remains the same. This segment is also introduced by the new petrol engine idle stop-start feature which makes the Dzire more fuel-efficient than before.

The facelifted Dzire also gets new features with the AMT models in the form of Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and hill-hold control. Certain new features include cruise control and rearview mirrors with auto-folding outside. It gets a new 4.2-inch TFT multi-information monitor in the instrument cluster between the analog dials, while the 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system has been upgraded too.

Maruti is also giving the wooden elements in the cabin a new finish. The Dzire continues to provide headlamps for the LED projector, rear AC vents, push-button engine start and auto AC.
