In India, the Ducati Multistrada V4 is expected to debut this month. The news was made on the Italian manufacturer’s social media sites.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 was recently released in foreign markets, and it comes in three different versions: V4, V4S, and V4 Sport. It remains to be seen whether Ducati would introduce all of these models to India. Despite this, the main distinction between the three variations is in terms of equipment.
The new Multistrada V4 boasts a fully new chassis, suspension, brakes, and engine that was built from the bottom up. The V4 engine in the Multistrada, nicknamed the V4 Granturismo, produces 170 horsepower at 10,500 rpm and 125 Nm of torque at 8,750 rpm. For comparison, the previous 1,262cc V-twin produced 158 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 128Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. Unlike the Multistrada 1260, which used Desmodromic valves, the V4 engine has a spring valve return mechanism, resulting in a large 60,000km valve train service interval.
The Multistrada V4 is packed with amenities and technological rider assistance, as one would expect. Another expensive feature on the V4S trim is radar-assisted adaptive cruise control.
