At last, Datsun India revised the GO twins to follow the tougher BS6 emission requirements. The GO rates vary from Rs 3.99 lakh to Rs 6.25 lakh, while the GO+ rate is from Rs 4.20 lakh to Rs 6.70 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The GO’s entry-level pricing has risen by Rs 21,000 though Rs 4,000 is accessible for the top model. While, the GO+’s starting price was hiked by Rs 5,000 and lowered for the highest CVT model by a good Rs 13,000.
With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the GO siblings are equipped with features such as LED daytime running lights, 14-inch machine cut alloy wheels and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. The safety features on offer are ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, brake assist and dynamic control (electronic stability control) for the segment-first vehicle.
Both cars are powered by the same 1.2 liter 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 77PS (manual 68PS) and 104Nm. The transmission duties are performed as usual by a 5-speed manual, while the top model provides a CVT as an alternative. The petrol-manual ‘s supposed mileage statistic has plummeted from 19.83kmpl to 19.02kmpl, whereas that of the CVT edition stands at 19.59kmpl and 18.57kmpl respectively for GO and GO+.
