BMW is scheduled to pause the 3 Series GT in India shortly. Even prior to that, the carmaker introduced a new 3 Series GT Shadow Edition based on the 330i M Sport model, which is priced at Rs 42.50 lakh. BMW has confirmed that the Shadow Version model is available in limited quantities, but the exact number is undisclosed. The 3 Series GT Shadow Edition can be picked, personalized and booked by customers via the newly launched online sales platform BMW.
A 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that puts out 252PS and 350Nm is offered for the 3 Series GT Shadow Model. This engine is mounted to a Steptronic Sport AT gearbox of 8 speeds. BMW provides the Shadow Edition 3 Series GT with four driving modes: Comfort, Ecopro, Sport and Sport+. At its electronically restricted maximum speed of 250kmph, it can do the 0-100kmph sprint inside 6.1 seconds and max out. The shadow version of the 3 Series GT has a estimated fuel efficiency of 13.95kmpl.
This comes in 4 shades: Alpine Gold, Black Sapphire, Melbourne Pink, and Estoril Blue. The Shadow Edition comes with blacked-out elements in the front grille, ORVMs (outside rearview mirror), dual exhaust tips, 18-inch alloy wheels, and headlamps and tail lamps to differentiate it from the regular 3 Series GT.
It features inside aluminum door sills, a M sports leather steering wheel, M logo key, panoramic glass roof, and ambient lighting. BMW also provides the Shadow Edition with an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring only Apple CarPlay compatibility, a 9-speaker sound system and dual-zone climate control. Offered safety features include six airbags, brake control at the corner and dynamic stability control.
