Nissan launch Magnite on November 26

The price of the Nissan Magnite will eventually be disclosed later this month. Sources tell us that on November 26, 2020, the Magnite SUV is scheduled to be formally released on the Indian market. Although official pricing for the Magnite is yet to be revealed by Nissan India, a quick check with a few dealers shows that pricing for the upcoming compact SUV is most likely to be close to the one leaked last week and as we recently mentioned, SUV bookings are in full swing and deliveries are expected to begin sometime next month.

This suggests that for the XE and Rs 9.55 lakh for the top-spec XV Premium CVT model, the Magnite would see a starting price of Rs 5.50 lakh. Learn a complete break-up of Nissan Magnite pricing here. A few dealers have already reported that by early next week, Magnite test drive and show units would hit their outlets.

In the Indian market, Nissan will sell the Magnite with two engine options: a 72hp, 1.0-liter, naturally aspirated version coupled with a 5-speed manual, and a 1.0-liter, turbo-charged unit (HRA0) that is good for torque of 100hp and 160Nm. With either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic (with which torque decreases to 152Nm), the 1.0 turbo-petrol will come with the option of either. On the Magnite, there will be no diesel engine option.
