The 2020 Mahindra Thar bookings, only a month after its launch on October 2, 2020, have crossed the 20,000 mark. Demand for the latest Mahindra Thar 4×4 continues to be strong; five days after 2020 Thar prices were announced, the brand earned more than 9,000 bookings.

The hard-top versions of the 2020 Thar, available as an optional extra on the lower-spec Thar AX (Rs 12.20 lakh) and as standard on the higher-spec Thar LX (Rs 12.49-13.75 lakh), have received a higher response, Mahindra claims.
With the preference of a 152hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, or a 132hp, 2.0-liter diesel engine, all with manual and automatic gearbox options, the 2020 Thar is available in LX form; both seem to be in demand. With each version of the Thar, here’s more on what else is available.
