The five-door Gurkha is still being tested by Force Motors in preparation for a possible introduction in the next months. We now have a new look at the model’s unmasked test mule thanks to recent spy photos.
The five-door Force Gurkha, as seen in the spy photos, gains a third row with two side-facing seats in addition to a longer body and two doors. The variant seen in these pictures has 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels as opposed to its three-door sibling’s 16-inch wheels. The remainder of the design is a three-door Gurkha carryover.
Currently, a 2.6-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine with 90 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque powers the Force Gurkha. The four-wheel-drive technology distributes power to all four wheels when paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. We anticipate the new five-seat vehicle to have a somewhat higher power output from the same engine when it is released.
