India-spec Volkswagen Tayron R-Line Unveiled

The German automaker has returned to the luxury 7-seater SUV market with the introduction of the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line. The Tayron R-Line, which is positioned above the Tiguan R-Line and serves as Volkswagen’s premier SUV for the Indian market, is essentially its larger.

Exterior

With the exception of a slightly altered grille, the front design is essentially the same as the Tiguan R-Line. It has a unique appearance thanks to the connected LED light strip and the lighted Volkswagen logo. Gloss black polymers are used to complete the majority of the bumper. To prevent scratches, think about purchasing a paint protection film (PPF).

The Tayron’s expanded proportions—more on that later—clearly suggest the existence of a third row when viewed from the side. Similar to the Tiguan R-Line, 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels neatly fill the wheel arches. Wheel arches are covered in thin, glossy black cladding.

The Volkswagen Tayron R-Line has a simple yet modern rear end. The connected LED tail lamps, which have pixel-style lighting components and give the SUV a unique nighttime light signature, are the main attraction here. In contrast, the bumper receives the same gloss black finish as the front end.

Interior

The Volkswagen Tayron R-Line’s interior dashboard is simple and somewhat similar to the Tiguan R-Line. The dashboard is dominated by two sizable screens: a 10.25-inch completely digital driver’s display and a 15-inch floating infotainment. The climate controls are among the elements that can only be accessible through the touchscreen. The dashboard’s ambient lighting arrangement is really awesome. Depending on your preferences, you can select from 30 various colors.

In contrast to the Tigaun R-Line’s manual adjustment, the Tayron’s front seats are electrically adjustable. It also has heating, ventilation, and massaging features. The inclusion of a third row is what has made a big difference. For increased convenience, the seats in the second row include both sliding and reclining features.
